dated 01/10/2003 a) In the Departments of Homoeopathic Pharmacy,
Homoeopathic Materia Medica, Organon of
Medicine, Repertory and Practice of Medicine, the teaching staff at
all levels shall be
on regular full time basis. b) In the Departments other than
referred to in (a) above, either the Professor or Reader shall be
fulltime and the Lecturer shall be on full time regular basis. c) That means either
professor, or Reader can be a guest faculty in departments except
the
departments named in (a) above. QUALIFICATION &
EXPERIENCE FOR TEACHING STAFF PRINCIPAL A. ESSENTIAL
QUALIFICATION : Post Graduate qualification in Homoeopathy and
holding a post as Professor / Reader in a Degree level
Homoeopathic college for two years or Degree in Homoeopathy with six
years teaching experience as Professor / Reader in a Homoeopathic
College. The qualification shall be the one included in Second
Schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973. B. DESIRABLE
QUALIFICATION : Administrative experience in Experience as Supervisor / Guide for Post
Graduate programme in Homoeopathy or original publication in
research. AGE : Not more than 50 years
as on the last date of receipt of application for the post. Age is relaxable for exceptionally qualified persons with prior approval of the University concerned. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE FOR TEACHING
STAFF 1) PROFESSOR IN
HOMOEOPATHIC SUBJECTS: A. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS : Post Graduate qualification in Homoeopathy with
two years of teaching experience as Reader or Degree in Homoeopathy
with six years of teaching experience as Reader or Diploma in
Homoeopathy of not less than four years duration with ten years
teaching experience in the concerned subject in a Homoeopathic
college. The qualification shall be the one included in Second
Schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973. B. DESIRABLE
QUALIFICATION : or original publication in
research. b) Administrative experience or Research
experience in a research institution under the Department of
Indian systems of Medicine & Homoeopathy of State Government or Central
Government in a responsible position. AGE : Not more than 45 years
as on the last date of receipt of application for the post. Age
is
relaxable for exceptionally qualified persons with prior
approval of the University
concerned. 2) PROFESSOR IN ALLIED
MEDICAL SUBJECTS : A. ESSENTIAL
QUALIFICATIONS : Post Graduate qualification in Homoeopathy with
two years of teaching experience as Reader in the concerned subject,
or a Degree in Homoeopathy with six years of teaching experience as
Reader in the concerned subject, or Diploma in Homoeopathy of not
less than four year duration with ten years teaching experience in
the concerned subject in a Homoeopathic college. The qualification shall be the one included in
Second Schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973. B. DESIRABLE
QUALIFICATION : i. Experience as Supervisor / Guide for Post

teaching experience as Reader or thirteen years teaching experience
in the B. DESIRABLE
QUALIFICATION : i.
Qualification included in the Third schedule of Homoeopathy Central
Council Act.

institution under the
State Government or Central Government in a responsible
position. AGE : Not more than 45 years
as on the last date of receipt of application for the post. Age is relaxable for exceptionally
qualified persons with prior approval of the
University concerned. 3) READER IN
HOMOEOPATHIC SUBJECT :- A. ESSENTIAL
QUALIFICATIONS : Post Graduate qualification in Homoeopathy with
four years of teaching experience as Lecturer in the concerned
subject in a
B. DESIRABLE
QUALIFICATIONS : i. Experience as
Supervisor / Co-supervisor or Guide / Co-Guide for Post Graduate
Programme in Homoeopathy. ii. Administrative
experience or Research experience in a research institution under
the Department of ISM
& Homoeopathy of State Government or Central Government in a
responsible

QUALIFICATION : i. Experience as Supervisor /

Government or Central Government in a responsible position. AGE : Not more than 40 years
as on the last date of receipt of application for the post. Age
is relaxable for exceptionally
qualified persons with prior approval of the University
concerned. Superannuating age shall be 60 years. 5) LECTURER IN
HOMOEOPATHIC SUBJECTS A. ESSENTIAL
QUALIFICATION : Post Graduate qualification in Homoeopathy or a
Degree in Homoeopathy with four years of professional experience.
The qualification shall be the one included in Second Schedule of
Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973. AGE : Not more than 35 years
as on the last date of receipt of application for the post. Age
is
relaxable by 5 years maximum for exceptionally qualified
persons with prior
approval of the University
concerned. 6) LECTURER IN ALLIED
MEDICAL SUBJECT : A. ESSENTIAL
QUALIFICATION : Post Graduate qualification in Homoeopathy or a
Degree in Homoeopathy with four years of professional experience.
The qualification shall be the one included in Second Schedule of
Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973. OR Post Graduate Medical Degree in concerned
subject recognized by the Medical Council of India with four years
professional experience. AGE : Not more than 35 years
as on the last date of receipt of application for the post. Age
is relaxable by 5 years maximum for exceptionally qualified
persons with prior
approval of the University concerned. 7) LIBRARIAN : A. ESSENTIAL
QUALIFICATION : 1) Qualifying in the national levels test
conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved
by the UGC 2) Master’s degree in Library Science /
Information Science / Documentation or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven
point scale plus consistently good Academic record, computerization of
Library. 8) DIRECTOR OF PHYSICAL
EDUCATION : A. ESSENTIAL
QUALIFICATION :
i.
A Master’s degree in Physical Education (two year course) /
Master’s degree in
sports or an equivalent degree with at last 55% of the marks
or its equivalent
C.G.P.A and consistently good academic
record.
ii. Record of having represented the University/College at
the Inter-University/Inter-
Collegiate competitions or the State in national
Championships.
iii. Passed the physical fitness test.
iv. Qualifying in the national levels test conducted for the
purpose by the UGC or any
other agency approved by the UGC NOTE : Provided that
the teaching experience in the concerned subject of persons
appointed as regular teaching staff in Homoeopathic Colleges (prior
to Notification of these amended regulations) fulfilling the
prescribed requirements of Homoeopathy (Minimum Standards of
Education) Regulations, 1983 shall be counted for appointment of
teaching staff as per Annexure 'C' to these regulations. 9) OTHER NOTES : a) Pay Scales : As and when fixed
from time to time, by the concerned authorities. b) Ladies and physical handicapped
reservation is as per rules. c) Candidates holding Essential
Qualifications & Experience on closing date of application
will be eligible to apply. d) Roman figures in Brackets
indicates No. of attempts of advertisement for that category. e) Candidates applying for
Reservation Category should submit Cast Certificate, Cast Verification,
Certificate and Non-Creamy Layer Certificate, as applicable. f) Reserve category candidates
who are not ordinarily residing in Maharashtra will be treated as open
category. g) In case, candidate from reserved
category are not available such post(s) will be filled from other
category for one Academic Year only. h) The complete application along with all
attested copies of certificates should reach the college as on or before
